Please note, I am not a “headstock-snob”. Just because it doesn’t say a certain brand on a guitar, doesn’t mean I am not interested. There are many “no-name” guitars that play very well, and many “big-name” ones that don’t. Paying a premium for having the “right” logo on the headstock of a guitar is not something I believe in. Budget guitars can be made to play and sound great, there are also a lot of guitars out there with big names on the headstock, which don’t, and there’s some silly money changing hands for them. On the other hand, I will not convert vintage, valuable or rare instruments into resonators.

Sollophonic Guitars is about giving guitars a new lease of life, whether by re-cycling and putting a cone into them and turning them into resonators, by taking a guitar and making it better for you to play, or by making you into a better player. I want more people playing guitars and more people picking up and enjoying fretted instruments. Playing the guitar is a sound and enjoyable antidote to the stresses and strains of our modern lives. I can make you a guitar that will do that, I can also make your guitar let you do that, and if you need it, make you yourself do that too!!!
